18-Inch Alloy Wheels

The 18-inch wheels of the Touring models have an athletic, stylish appearance.

Heated Power Side Mirrors with Integrated Turn Indicators

The Touring model’s side mirrors with integrated turn indicators are especially useful in areas with heavy traffic.

Smart Entry

The Smart Entry system detects when your key fob is near the vehicle, and it allows you to lock and unlock your doors with ease (available in EX and above).

3.5-liter, 24-valve, SOHC i-VTEC® V-6 engine

The high-output, 3.5-liter, 24-valve, SOHC i-VTEC® V-6 engine produces 248 hp and an equally impressive 250 lb-ft of torque, giving the Odyssey strong performance, while maintaining exceptional fuel efficiency[1].

6-Speed Automatic Transmission

The 6-speed automatic transmission gives the Odyssey a smooth, even spread of power during acceleration, and contributes to the Odyssey’s excellent fuel economy ratings[1].

Variable Cylinder Management™ (VCM®)

Variable Cylinder Management™ (VCM®) is programmed to run on three, four or six cylinders, based on the power requirement. Backed by the intelligence of i-VTEC®technology, VCM quickly and seamlessly activates or deactivates two or three cylinders. So you get the best of both worlds: V-6 power when accelerating or climbing, and the efficiency of a smaller engine while cruising.

Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS)

The anti-lock braking system (ABS) uses a special modulator to pulse the brakes to help prevent wheel lockup. This helps the driver retain steering control during hard braking. The Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) system balances the front/rear braking forces during dynamic loading.

Daytime Running Lights (DRL)

The Odyssey enhances its visibility to other drivers by incorporating Daytime Running Lights (DRL) up front.

Driver’s and Front Passenger’s Active Head Restraints

In a sufficient rear-end impact, the active head restraints move forward and up, helping reduce the likelihood of neck injury.

Dual-Stage, Multiple-Threshold Front Airbags (SRS)

The Odyssey is equipped with dual-stage, multiple-threshold front airbags (SRS). One or both of these airbags will be deployed only in the event of a sufficient frontal impact. If deployed, these airbags are capable of being inflated at different rates depending on crash severity, seat-belt usage and/or other factors. Frontal airbags are designed to supplement the seat belts to help reduce the likelihood of head and upper body injuries in frontal collisions.

Airbags inflated for display purposes.

Honda reminds you and your passengers to always buckle up. Children 12 and under are safest when properly restrained in the rear seat.

Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD)

Part of the braking system, EBD is a more exacting method of ensuring that proportionate braking forces are applied to the brakes. In order to avoid needless ABS cycling during a non-emergency stop, EBD uses the ABS sensors to detect impending rear-wheel lockup. Then it signals an additional ABS solenoid to reduce braking force to the rear and add more to the front.

Front 3-Point Seat Belts with Automatic Tensioning System

Front 3-point seat belts with automatic tensioners ride across the lap and chest to help restrain occupants during sudden stops or impact.

ULEV-2 CARB Emissions Rating

The V-6 engine in the Odyssey meets California’s Ultra-Low-Emission Vehicle (ULEV-2)[1] standard for light trucks. Fuel efficiency[2] remains a high priority, as the outstanding city/highway ratings of the Odyssey confirm.
